Visa-Exempt Entry 
Nationals of the following countries are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to:

  • 90 days: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Haiti, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Poland, Paraguay, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA, Vatican City State
  • 30 days: Belize, Brunei (except those holding diplomatic or official/service passports), Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Malaysia, Saint Christopher and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, Thailand (except those holding diplomatic or official/service passports)

Southeast Asian Countries
Applicable to citizens of India, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Lao.

Mainland China Residents
For the Mainland China passport holders, there are 2 mandatory procedures for an entry to Taiwan:

1) Taiwan Entry Permit for Mainland Chinese Citizen

This is a visa you need from Taiwan. Due to the complicated procedures and documents, please contact our office at least 3 months prior to the conference for assistance in invitation letter and other materials.

2) Please contact your local city government at least 3 months prior to the conference.

Please note that you have to file an application through your local city government to obtain the other permit to leave China for Taiwan. Required documents may differ from city to city so please let our office know what kind of application materials you need from us.

Designated Countries
Nationals from the following countries applying for visitor visas to Taiwan must fulfill the requirements listed in the link:

Conference Invitation Letter

If you are in need of a letter confirming your participation in the MicroTAS 2018 Conference, please fill out the bellow form.

If, for some reason, your visa application is denied, your registration fees will be refunded to you in full when appropriate documentation is given before the deadline of October 31, 2018.

Registration Cancellation and Refund: You must contact us no later than October 31, 2018, to cancel your registration for the MicroTAS 2018 Annual Meeting. For cancellations made by October 31, 2018, your registration fee will be refunded less a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after October 31, 2018. Cancellation requests must identify the registrant’s name, email address, and amount paid. Send cancellation requests to tbrown@kellencompany.com
